Steve Russell — Founder
My name is Steve Russell. I have lived in Fort Worth my entire adult life. I have raised my family here, built businesses here, and I have watched this city grow from a regional hub into one of the most dynamic metropolitan areas in the country.
I spent thirty years building and operating businesses. I understand what accountability looks like, what it costs to do things correctly, and what happens to an industry when the operators within it stop caring about long-term reputation.
The roofing industry in Texas has a problem. It is not a new problem, but the April 2026 storm season made it impossible to ignore. In the weeks following the storms that struck Tarrant and Parker County, dozens of out-of-state contractors showed up in Fort Worth neighborhoods — knocking on doors, pressuring homeowners to sign contracts the same day, and operating without verifiable local credentials.
These companies will be gone before your roof fails. Before you can call them back. Before you realize the work was not done correctly. I have watched this happen to neighbors and I decided it was not acceptable.
Meridian Roofing Co. was founded to be the answer to that problem. We are a Fort Worth business, with a Fort Worth phone number, operating under a Texas LLC. We give you a written inspection report before we ask you for anything. We attend your adjuster meeting at no charge. And when you call us six months after the job is done, the same person answers.
